Apple, I've noticed, has had their hand in a lot of product placement. A soap opera here in Australia, "Home and Away", has nothing but Macs in every second scene, and same deal with a lot of TV commercials. It's especially funny when, for example, Optus advertises their wireless broadband, using a Macbook Pro for the laptop, which is clearly running Windows XP. Can you say wtf? I guess its because Apple's Mac range are good looking computers. And with the fictional industry that is obsessed with fashion, it seems fitting that they would have the 'Prada' of computer hardware. My two cents.

Hi there, I just came across your blog when googling to see if anyone knew what size all those apple cinema displays were in the Devil Wears Prada. You certainly paid more attention to the Apple products that I did. I missed the Macbook. I still can't decide if they were 23 or 30 inch displays though. That was basically the highlight of the movie for me, and was aghast when she threw her jacket on the screen :) Aren't I sad? ;-)
